Glo2Facial vs HydraFacial: which is right for your skin?

We offer both Glo2Facial by Geneo and HydraFacial at tapmedspa, and the most common question we hear is which one to book. They are both excellent, no-downtime treatments. They simply get there in different ways.

How HydraFacial works

HydraFacial uses a vortex-suction tip to cleanse, gently exfoliate, extract congestion from pores, and then infuse hydrating serums. Boosters can be added to target concerns such as dark spots or fine lines.

Best for: congested or oily skin, blackheads, dehydration, and anyone who loves a deep-clean feeling.

How Glo2Facial works

Glo2Facial works in three steps. First, an exfoliating treatment creates a gentle bubbling reaction on the skin that encourages oxygenation from within. Next, ultrasound helps the skin take in active ingredients. Finally, a light massage supports lymphatic drainage. You choose from several treatment types, such as Balance for oily skin, Detox for environmental stress, and Hydrate for dryness.

Best for: dull, tired, or stressed skin, and sensitive skin that does not love extractions.

Yes, and many clients do. A common rhythm is HydraFacial when skin feels congested and Glo2Facial when it looks flat or tired. A monthly facial of either kind is a realistic maintenance schedule for most people.
